I am currently in an Art Presentation class at Pittsburg State University and we have been working on how to photograph our work. My professor showed us the many different ways to document our artwork, from taking pictures of small 3-D works, to large and small 2-D works.
I have photographed some of the work that I have done in my Color Theory class. The pieces are reactively small so I was able to use the copystand to photograph my work. The copystand was nice to use, because it gives an even lighting across the entire piece so that it is properly lit and looks the best. After I documented my work, I took the photos into Photoshop and edited them so the lighting was just right. |
